HappyBidDay Reviews

HappyBidDay is a good penny auction for both beginners and experienced bidders. For beginners, HappyBidDay offers Happy Auctions (free to participate) and Starter Auctions (reserved for new bidders). Both of these penny auctions help new bidders become acquainted with the website and allow them to gain valuable bidding experiences before getting into some of the more competitive auctions for high-end products. Another feature of HappyBidDay which benefits new bidders is Win Limits. Win Limits put restrictions on “Power Bidders” as to how much they can win in any given day or week. This makes it easier for new bidders to be competitive.

If you’re an experienced penny auction bidder, you’ll be glad to know that HappyBidDay offers a decent number of high end auctions (iPads, TVs, laptops, gold, silver, etc.). Resellers (bidders who earn money winning auctions and selling their winnings) and other power bidders (experienced, high volume bidders) have a good selection of quality auctions to compete for.

HappyBidDay Pros and Cons

  • HappyBidDay Pros: Good balance between the # of penny auctions and the amount of competition, plenty of chances to win free bids, fast shipping, responsive customer service

HappyBidDay FAQs

Does HappyBidDay offer a buy it feature?

Yes, HappyBidDay.com offers Buy It on almost every auction. HappyBidDay’s Buy It works like this- Let’s say you spend 300 bids on any given TV auction and lose. If you choose to the buy the TV at their listed price, HappyBidDay gives back 100% of the bids which you used on the auctions. This is a pretty good deal as now you can go and start bidding again on other auctions without having to buy bids again.

What are Happy Auctions?

HappyBidDay offers Happy Auctions, a free-to-participate auction type. Basically, they give you tons of ‘Happy’ bids (free) which allow to to participate in their free auctions. In general, they only auction lower-end products and bid packages in these auctions but the winner only has to pay the final closing price.

HappyBidDay recommends that you use Happy Auctions to stock-up on bids for their penny auctions and to win small gift cards and electronics. They are not a bad place to practice either!

Happy Bid Day Review

May 12, 2014 by Larry West

The site is easy to understand. Seem to be a lot of the same bidders winning the high end items. So if you are a new bidder stay away for high end items. I have one several small items. Best part of the site is free to bid auctions for bids, but this does make it harder to win with some many people with lots of bids.

Bottomless Bid Packages

Oct 01, 2013 by Ken Fritz

I don't know how low HappyBidDay has been doing it, but recently first time buyers of bid packs are given a "Bottomless Bid Package". For 24 hours or until you win an auction your bids or replenished as you make bids.
Sounds great, but items close at near retail as there are many with "bottomless bids". HappyBidDay doesn't need shills or bots, they use new members to bid everything up.

Sometimes a bit hard to win on happy bid day but they seems to run pretty fair auctions and the penny auction product variety is good. Beginners should stick with the beginner auctions because the xperts own the high-end product auctions.

Good penny auction, priceyprocessing fees

I think the competition isn't bad on happy bid day but the processing fees are kind of high. Guess you just have to factor that in when figuring out your profits.
